There's nothing like fresh romaine and spinach, straight from the garden. Our mint finally went out of control (orange, chocolate, and spearmint) -- luckily, we were warned and have them contained, so they don't take over the garden.

What else do we have? Fresh basil, rosemary, and oregano (too much oregano, if you ask me, and I cook like an Italian). More hyssop than I know what to do with. Chives (that never took off in the garden -- however, we've got chives growing wild in our neighborhood).

And in several weeks, too many tomatoes and bell peppers. (Although you never can have too many bell peppers. You can have too many cucumbers. Last year was a nightmare.)

We also grow strawberries for the ants and birds. We're nice that way.
