I. Have. Returned. For good this time, I hope. I have missed each and every one of you dreadfully, but I have had a mostly good past 3 weeks, during which time I was allowed back on but was not home to BE on. So, my past 3 weeks for you...

June 12-15
National History Day. Huge National competition that I've made it to every year since 7th grade. I did an individual performance on the women of Afghanistan. The way performances work is that there are seven different rooms of competitors, then the top 2 from each room compete against each other for the top three places. I made it to runoffs - second in my room. I just got my score sheet things back yesterday, and I got 7th overall - NationWide! Isn't that awesome? I also won a special prize for best Senior Division entry on Women's History, which is a Big Deal. I think it's money, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I stayed on campus at the University of Maryland College Park and had a blast, like I do every year.

June 16-21
Camp with my youth group. Awesome crazy fun. Mud pit. Swimming in the river. Rambo. hanging out. Foosball.... i could go on and on, but i won't. It was awesome any which way, lots and lots of fun. Also a severe call back to God for me... I've been very far away, and I feel SO much closer now. Plus, my team won!

June 26-30
Habitat for Humanity, also with my youth group. An AMAZING time.... lots of demolition, lots of demolition clean up, lots of fun. We went to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner one night, also disco bowling.... we had a great time serving but also getting to know others better. OneStaple and I were nearly inseperable.... we aren't officially dating yet, but it's obvious that we will be soon. I hope. Updates on that will be forthcoming.
