My short trip came off exactly as planned. No, it wasn't boring. We had a great time. We had dinner with Steve, who was his usual funny self. Then we drove to Huntington, WVa, and visited with Uncle John. He and his wife, Sue, took us out to lunch and then gave us a tour of the city. For those of you who don't know, Huntington is located where the Ohio River is joined by the Big Sandy. It's an old town made up mostly of brick houses, brick churches, and even brick streets. I never saw so many bricks in my life. The downtown area is block after block of antique stores. And the Toyota got 34.8 mpg. That alone makes it a good trip.
