Very small world! I went to Sixth form College in Benfleet (School for 16-18 year olds) I also know Hadleigh and Leigh very well. Did your Dad ever go to Rochford and try out the eight or so pubs? Best real ale in the county!
That's a long time settled in the UK as Danelaw ended roughly a millenia ago!

You guys eat some pretty nasty things for breakfast; like 'sweet breads', 'black pudding' and 'tripe and onions'. ;o)
I have never eaten tripe & onions ever, and don't intend to. Don't quite know what sweet breads are? I have, however, eaten Black Pudding for breakfast many a time and will continue to do so.

She is a genuine Girl from Essex and also quite familiar with most of the jokes about Essex Girls. She sees them at the club just like I do and laughs herself silly at them half the time.
We were genuinely thinking of Ozzie for our honeymoon, quite possibly during the eclipse next year. We missed the one here due to 90% cloud coverage!
Is NZ good for a pommie who burns easily? I go from white to blistery red and back to white!
Be 'st food in the world! A cheese n ham to' asty
