The reason why flu and colds flourish in the winter, is probably
because cold air in the nose causes more people to sneeze,
thus passing on the germs to people around them.

I've read that they did an experiment on a large crowd in the
1950's where they subjected half of the crowd to hypothermia,
and they didn't get more sick than the other half.
