At an estimated exchange rate of one pound Sterling to 1.60 US dollars we are talking $5.47. and that's just on average! > > Anybody out there ever paid more than $2 a gallon? > > Bea "content with your lot and don't be lu" sty
Every time I fill up the car, the tank gets bigger. I paid $1.489 per US gal. last Wednesday. I need to fill up the truck this week and I expect it to be over a buck and a half. I don't worry about the price in the UK because over there I would be the only one driving on the right. I wouldn't survive long enough to get to the gas station.
Last summer, I was paying about $.72 a gallon in Georgia. I hate paying so much now but I'm enjoying laughing at the SUV people. My car gets about 35 mpg and the truck about 28 mpg. Howard
