I like having a TV, but I don't watch it a lot. For a while recently I had so much homework (mostly as a result of bad planning on my part) that I didn't have any time to watch TV, and even before that I didn't watch much of it. Now that it's summer I watch a bit more now, but I'm on the computer most of the time.

The problem with TV is that for every half hour of good programming, there's three hours of crap. There are a lot of good shows out there that I feel are worth watching, but there are way more that aren't. This phenomenon causes people to think that there's never anything good to watch on TV, when there is: it just doesn't take up much time.

Sigh.
