I love travelling. I think the the old adage, "getting there is half the fun" is true, at least in my case. There's just something nostalgic and exciting and fun about hitting the road for a long trip.

Which is what we did this weekend. A friend of mine from college got married this weekend, and so I took Friday off of work, we left the baby with grandma and grandpa, and we hit the road! The wedding was in Bedford, Michigan, which is about a four-hour drive.

I'd been to Michigan once or twice before, but never driven there. I esepcially enjoy driving to places that I've never been before, and I really enjoyed this trip. We stayed at a hotel in Battle Creek. I wish we had had more time to see some of the sights, like the Kellogg's Cereal City museum. We'll have to go back there someday when we have more time to be tourists.
