A Reuben is a Reuben is a Reuben. They're traditionally made with corned beef here as well. However, there's a little deli down the street who happens to have one with pastrami on the menu. When first I tried it, oh man! It was one of those moments that you just want to savor forever. The sandwich enters yours mouth... you bite down and tear off a big hunk... then the flavors hit... your eyes widen, your brow sorta crinkles upward in the middle... you start nodding your head slowly but uncontrollably... then you actually point to the sandwich with your free hand... with your mouth bursting with phenomenal flavors, you actually try to verballize things like, "Oh...oh... Yeah... oh...mmmm"
Then your lunch companion looks at you and says, "What? Is that good?"
You do your best to reply, but your mouth is still full, "Mmph ...yeah!"

Howard, go to your favorite deli and ask them to make it with pastrami. Try it, it's not too bad.
