All I can say is, sorry. Ones are lines except when typed or written in a european fashion. I don't know what curvy bits you are talking about on the lower case l's. An I only has the bars if the font (or person) uses them, which most people don't. You'll just have to get over it or be annoyed a lot. Your call.
Also it isn't to hard to tell one from the other. |,000 is deffinatly a thousand. |ime is definetly a useing a lower case l. |magination is obviously useing an upper case I. |t is a|| in the context.
