I do all my university notetaking by hand. I scribble notes on handy bits of paper when I have an idea and don't want to wait for the computer to warm up. For cost-saving reasons, I simulate the functions of an electronic organiser using a pencil and an archaic paper-based object known as a "diary". So I write by hand nearly every day.

(If that qualifies as writing. I print everything except my signature, unless I'm in a hurry and the letters start running together.)
