Arizona? I went there in the fall. Not too bad.
New Mexico? Went there too, same trip. Nice
Chili? Haven't been there yet.

28% sounds good, but 100 degrees F; no thank you.
I've crossed deserts in California and the Bonneville Salt Flats in the summer, and that was in the days when cars weren't air conditioned.
Won't try that again.
