I feel a little ashamed even talking about it here. Also, there are are no therapists in my tiny neck of the woods, only a doctor and a pastor. I know they would never reveal my problem to anyone, but I've known them for a long time, and it would be difficult seeing them around the community after telling them something so personal. I know it's pretty silly, but I just don't like that kind of thing, and when nothing is happenning *now*, it's difficult to see a reason why I should talk to someone. I'll try, though.

The biggest reason to try and do it now is that if you wait until you're on the down side again, you'll probably be too down to be able to seek help. It could easily turn into a catch 22 if you don't break the cycle. Feeling good means you'll want to do it when you don't feel good again, but not feeling good means waiting until you feel better again, when you'll again feel there's time to do it when you don't feel good.

I realize all of this is probably starting to sound like a lot of people who just want to see their names up with a little advice for someone they don't know, but we are genuinely concerned and want very much for you to get through this unscathed. Is there a close friend or relative in another town that you could stay with for a while after school is out for the summer and maybe see a doctor there?
