two rough days

It's been a couple of rough days.
Monday, before daylight, I got up in Kennesaw, Ga. and drove home in the truck pulling a loaded trailer. 170 miles.

Monday noon, I went to my friendly neighborhood dentist for two fillings and replacement of an old one. It took two hours.

Monday, 3:00, I had to work in the garden, because the weeds were winning. Lasted over an hour, but had to quit. Heat of the day.

Monday 6:30 pm Drove to Knoxville to watch my grandson in a soccer match. They lost.

Tuesday 7:30 am, go to hospital for "Upper GI." That's the one where they run a tube down your throat and check out your stomach and the upper end of you small intestines. Not to bad -- I slept through it. Results look good, but they took me off coffee and chocolate for two months and no Mexican or Italian food.
Tuesday noon, bland lunch, no coffee.
Tuesday 1:00 pm off to the dentist again for more work. He has to make a living. Only 30 min., this time.
Two short afternoon naps. The kind that make you get up feeling worse. Caffine withdrawal headache.
Bland supper. No chocolate dessert.
It's been rough.
Howard
