> Strange that you should mention that. I just bought a a Daisy lever action BB gun at a thrift store in Georgia. I'ts almost the same design as the one I had as a kid in the 1940's. It was in near-new condition and cost me six bucks. My grandson came over with his Red Rider and we spent a couple of hours knocking over cans. It was fun. You never get too old for some sports.

Wow, this really brings back those distant memories of my childhood. Okay, not so distant. But definately good memories. Ah, the innocent fun of shooting the window out of our abandoned shed, or firing at the metal tube connecting the still-live powerline to the structure, and listening to the pellets ricochet over our heads. Looking back, I'm awfully surprised that the consequences and repercussions weren't more severe.
