Wow. You're right, that's really quite impressive. (At least, with a cable modem connection it is.)

Almost no story moves me quite as much or on so many different levels as the Easter morning story. It interests me that in this online retelling of the story, the only character allowed to make sounds or speech is God himself -- either through the angel as his messenger or through the quotations of Jesus printed on screen. That's appropriate: Easter morning is one of those moments when God himself takes center stage, delivering his definitive word of victory over the enemy, death. The other characters can merely watch, awestruck. Such moments serve to reinforce my conviction that "religion" isn't about humans trying to find meaning in the world or, just as often, trying to concoct meaning where they find none. It works in exactly the opposite direction: God acts powerfully and visibly in the world he created to impart meaning to it and defend it as its champion. All that we do is watch and listen, and rejoice.
