That reader poll got me again! I had to check "other" because my hair isn't white yet. A little black, a little grey, but not white. The other day I was talking to Chris, my grandson, and I told him that my hair was very blond when I was little, but that by the time I was his age, it was brown. As I got older, it got darker and darker until it was black.

He looked at me for a while and said, "I think you're going back to blonde."

Chris doesn't miss much.
