While the pre-packaged bread mixes can make using a bread machine even easier than it already is, they are still quite limited. Splurge! Go out and get yourself a couple bread machine cookbooks, a bag or two of *bread-making* flour (it makes a difference), a jar of yeast, and a whole bunch of et cetera. My personal fav's: Oregano Bread, Pumpkin Bread, and Peasant Bread. I keep talking about making a special cinnamon bread to make into french toast, but we just haven't gotten a round tuit.
