It's cool. Stats on Jam! show 1.7 million downloads of the preview in its first 24 hours... almost double compared to The Phantom Menace download. And, after getting a taste of LotR, I begin to dare hope that it might be potentially as big as TPM (preferably with somewhat less hype).

Hey I know I'm going to get in trouble for comparing the two... It's just that SW jumped to mind, given the way Jackson's LotR trilogy will be spread out over several years.

BTW Is there any way to download that QuickTime movie directly to your HD, without having to connect up to the apple.com site each time?
