For some reason, I feel the need to explain my answer to this particular poll. I chose the "I am working, and the best years are now" answer. However, I also felt like answering with the other two answers for "I am working..." My childhood, high school, and college years were all the best years of my life. I can't look back and truly say that there are periods of my life that I wish never happened. There were *events* or *circumstances* that I wish I could have avoided...or at least I wanted to avoid them at the time. And I am sure there are going to be things that happen in the future that I am going to wish weren't happening. I am going through one of those times right now. But everything that has ever happened in my life has been part of making me who I am today, and I wouldn't want to take away any of that.

James 1:2-4 says, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (some versions read 'trials'); knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing."

Which is why I think that the best years are NOW, even though we are going through trying times. Because if we react to the trials the way we are supposed to, they will only make us stronger.

If you've ever seen the movie "Dead Poets Society," then you're familiar with the phrase "Carpe Diem"--Seize the Day. I think this is a good motto to live by. Live each day as it comes and make the most of it; not for yourself alone, but for God and those around you. Remember the past fondly, but don't always rest on the strengths of your past accomplishments. Look forward to and plan for the future, but don't waste all your time with daydreams.
