At 8:35 am, Seattle's twenty-four year old KingDome was imploded.

Frankly, I'm sad to see it go. I saw my first Major League Baseball game in the Kingdome, and it will always remain my favorite Seattle landmark (well, besides the Space Needle...and the Seattle Center...and the Seattle Art Museum....and the Pike Place Market...).
