Well, from a purely selfish point of view [where I normally look out from, incidentally] I like what RinkChat's done. It kills me that I can't get it, but when I actually have time to read the forum, it's manageable. I nearly went the way of Jommekke, leaving because of time constraints, several times, but now I can't because I stuck it out through the 200-post-a-day phase.
Well, that and the realization that when I leave for college, I may leave behind some of the best friends I've known in person, but at least I'll have you.
So, as a prodigal-son-who-turned-out-to-be-a-daughter [I'm still amused everyone assumed I was a guy, by the way, not that I blame anyone] and a formal regular, coming back is a whole lot easier.
Howard (and those of like sentiments), I'm sorry you are [were? this thread is a week or two stale by now] feeling the forum is abandoned. Just another perspective.
