They don't do this at my school. And I'm glad. The only thing they do say is that teachers are not allowed to give you tylonol. You can ask them to go take some if you have a headache or such. Usually they'll let you.

My school doesn't have a problem with drugs or violence I don't think. Occasionally someone comes to school drunk and gets sent home. Sometimes a fight will break out but it is very unlikely that it involves anything more deadly than fists.

I hope there if never a zero tolerance policy like that here. I hope we never need one.
