Well.... I learned my first instrument (and how to read music) about 9 months ago, trombone. About 3 months after that I joined marching band. I played second trombone, but that was the lowest one possible :-)

Then at the beginning of the school year I had moved up to first trombone in school concert band (The band for people not good enough for Wind Ensemble).

And next year I am being put into Wind Ensemble (That's the band for good people) on first euphonium, actually, i'll be the only euphonium...

Right now I can competently play trombone, euphonium, tuba, and trumpet... Oh, and I had an improv solo in jazz band on trombone...
