It's more of a hobby now; I don't get to practice much and I only play it at church. But it's something I really enjoy. Someday, I'd like to take lessons again and get better at it, and even play with a semi-professional orchestra or chamber group.

I'm planning on getting my wife the Yamaha Silent Cello (link below) sometime. She used to play and talks about wanting to take it up again -- she stopped for the same reason you did, life just got in the way. Going for a Ph.D. will do that.

I used to play the sax way back when I was a youngin', however, I always wanted to play the piano.

The guy that sits next to me at work played bass for Orange 9mm.
