I'm getting ready for the scooter meet in Cochran, Georgia, March 20 - 24. I took the '47 Cushman out and ran it up and down the street just to be sure it ran ok. It did, but a couple of dogs tried to wreck me. I cured them with a handful of small gravel. A dog that chases scooters, or other vehicles, is likely to get killed. Unfortunately they sometimes kill the scooter.

I got the Honda out and ran it a little. Wide open is supposed to be 25 to 28 mph, but it loaded up and wouldn't get to 20. After a while it cleared up and ran ok, but I may treat it to a new plug. I think I'm still using the one that was in it when I got it 5 years ago.

I got the Eagle's gas tank back on. The fuel system was a mess but I think it's fixed now.

With luck, I'll be ready in time.
