I've actually answered this in another post some time ago, but for those of you who may have missed it and are teatering on the edge of their seat with fanatical anticipation, here goes:

Back in high school, I was taking some drama courses, and the teacher approached me to play the part of Tranio in "The Taming of the Shrew" because the guy who already had the part decided to bail about halfway through rehearsals. I accepted, and loved every minute of my first stage production.
After posting here several times with my real name, I wanted to change it to something a bit less boring, and unipeg encouraged me to do so.
So if you don't like it, blame her. : )
