One of the things you have to put up with when you are over the hill is medical testing. I've been through a month of such stuff and the verdict is that I don't have anything that is going to kill me. My joints creak a little and my back is stiff for a few minutes every morning, but overall I'm in pretty good shape. I can ride my scooter and grow a garden and travel. I don't have any modesty left and four doctors and a dozen nurses and nurse practicioners know my old body better than I do, but who cares? I'm going to send in my pre-registration for the Spring Scooter meet in Cochran, Georgia, and I might even consider a cruise to some far-away place. All you young'uns enjoy your good health. Take care of yourself. I think one of the reasons I have lasted this long is that I never drank or smoked or took drugs. It may not seem like a big deal now, but when you get past 60 it makes a difference. Have I seemed surly lately? Probably, but they really had me worried. It seemed like all they did was check here and there for cancer. I just noticed something. It's sunny outside and the buttercups are blooming. I think it's spring. Howard.
