You appear to have struck a nerve here, Darien. I've never had a problem with loud music coming from next door or down the hall, but that's probably because it's my *roomate* who constantly blares loud, obnoxious rap.
I'm usually too much of a wuss to say anything, but certain things really bug me, like when I'm already playing music on my computer, and he comes in and simply turns on his stereo louder. Or when he cranks up the stereo seconds before leaving the room, expecting it to still be on when he comes back in a half hour.
In conculsion, ugh.
