I've heard that each book would take about 20 hours to do. This is perfect length for a T.V. series. This way it will last for a decade. My only concern with a series is the FX part to it. To re-create WoT you need a ten foot high Ogier, people using the power and the White Tower. This may be to much for out technology right now.

Umm...have you seen the TV show "Farscape"? Some of the best FX are on that...I don't think that it would be that much of a problem to recreate the things you mentioned...
