I think the obvious answer would be documentary/comedy with a decent helping of dream sequences and general weird stuff. I'm just glad it's not some psycho-thriller like "Seven", every day like that would just be a bit much to take.
I think my director might be Ron Howard or Rob Reiner; I'll have to check the ending credits.
