My face is red. (That's an American expression that means I am embarassed.) I really do seem to have problems with the gender thing. I too, have been mistaken for the opposite sex, simply because I was a teacher in an elementary school.
I guess I owe you an explanation about the "you all" thing. Strictly speaking, the plural of "you" is the same as the singular, but in the southern USA we tend to say "you all" when referring to a group of people. Sometimes people in the northern USA make fun of us and pretend that they think we use "you all" as a singular. Or maybe they aren't pretending. I noticed that you used the expression, correctly, in your post. So I was poking fun at the northerners saying that if people as far away as Moscow knew what it meant, there was no reason why they should misunderstand it.
I admire your command of English. I struggled for years, trying to learn a second language, and I failed.
Now tell us some good Russian jokes. We won't be offended if they are about Americans. A number of people on RinkWorks are of other nationalities and we have enjoyed their jokes very much. In fact, if you tell one in Russian, there may be someone here who will understand it.
