No, no, no. I think you've misunderstood. Symmetry is not evil, sailors are odd. They must be odd, I mean really, who else would dress like that? What's with the flappy thing on their back? Is that some kind of *back-up* in case the sails fail? The captain calls, "All hands on deck!" then they all stand there holding up their flaps to catch the wind? Way silly.
