There's an Eddy Money song that may be called "Gimme Some Water". The verse goes something like: "Gimme some water, 'cause I shot a man on the Mexican border. Cool, cool water..."

I remember from high school (the mid 80's), there was a fun song that got a lot of air play called "Wet Dream" -Whoooaah! not that kind! the whole song was a story about a fish named Marlon who has girl problems and every verse is a bad fish pun. It's hilarious. I think the artist was Kip Adonna (O'Donna), (Odonna). It's more about fish, but when one thinks of fish, they think of water.
