The best song about water is "Cool Water." I get thirsty just listening to it. It was recorded by "The Mills Brothers," and also by "The Sons of the Pioneers who were backup for Roy Rogers, but Roy wasn't on that record.

I can remember some of the words. It went like this:
"All day I faced the barren waste without a taste of water.
Cool water."
It's basically a cowboy song and both of the groups that recorded it did a fantastic job. I don't remember who wrote it, but it's a great song.

I also like "Red Sails in the Sunset," a golden oldie about waiting on the shore for a sweetie to come back.
