A thoughtful analysis, and an interesting metaphor.

It almost duplicates my own feelings about it, but not quite. There's a very important difference: there's an open invitation to anyone to come to the chewy inside goodness of the site -- all are welcome, and I'm more than interested in meeting others out there.

But when it comes to *advertising* the site, yeah, I only advertise the crust. :-)
