I think these are good questions. For Day of Week, it was pretty easy; I picked Saturday. Monday through Thursday aren't my favorites, because they're just workdays. Friday is good because it's the start of the weekend, but it's a workday too. Sunday is a nice relaxing day off (and it's the day for the color funny pages), but it's also the end of the weekend, and holds the promise of another work week.

So, Saturday is my favorite, because it's a full day off, and because I can stay up as late as I like and then sleep all day Sunday.


Month of the year is trickier, because all the months have their advantages and disadvantages. The summer months are a time for good weather and vacations. but it can get too hot. In the spring the snow melts and the flowers bloom, but it's also allergy season and it rains a lot. In the fall, the leaves change color, but summer vacation ends. In the winter, there's snow, but then again, there's also snow.

And that's just the seasons; break it down into months and there are even more considerations. In particular, all the holidays; December has Christmas, November has Thanksgiving, February has Valentine's Day, July has Independence Day, and so on. (Please don't mind the American focus here, I'm explaining my own personal thoughts about these questions.)

In the end, I settled on October, because it has Halloween and my birthday.
