I don't know about cartoon characters, but there is a commercial for Snickers where a man says "Great googly moogly". He's supposed to be painting the word 'Chiefs' in the end-zone of a football field and realizes that he painted 'Chefs' instead.

I'm sure you've seen the commercial. It's been on for a while now.
