A large portion is devoted to the ecology of the Tennessee Valley, but they have creatures from several continents. Easy to get to from I-75, I-24, and I-59. We took a couple of grandkids and they had a blast. (Those two have a blast every day, but this was a better blast.) > Howard
Last year, the college I attended was very close to the aquarium. I never actually went inside it, but the free-form sculpted walkways and waterfalls made for very neat places to walk with a group of friends.
Another really neat-o place in the area is Rock City, atop Lookout Mountain. The name may sound a little corney, but I guarantee you'll gasp at least once before leaving.
