This is my second year in college and, like everyone else, I felt that way too. I was afraid to move away from the shelter of my parents, and from the few friends I had. I knew which college I wanted to go to since I was in 10th grade, so that wasn't much of a problem. My college is only 3 hours drive from home, and even though I don't have a car, I find rides from friends, and made new friends in order to get home. *L* I take the train sometimes too. I think getting to move out and live on my own is a really good thing, even though I was forced to grow up quickly in order to keep myself fed. You get to make even more friends, so you'll have twice as many. Good luck!
