> How do you guys deal with it? Those of you in high school, how do you deal with knowing you have to leave? If you're in college, how'd you deal with leaving? If you're past that, what little tidbits of wisdom do you have for a teenager who is scared of the Real World?

I had a very easy time leaving. I didn't really have any friends to speak of (one or two), and I've never been particularly close to my family. To me, going away to college was a relief, since I got to get away from a lot of people who didn't partiularly care for me and meet a whole new group of people who would come to dislike me shortly thereafter.
