I've been lonely, of late. I blamed it for some time on an odd childhood, recent events, other people, and so on. But I have since realized that lonliness is part of the human condition, an unescapable aspect of the everday experience of life.
But what does this mean? Is this some sort of evolutionary fail-safe, meant to drive individuals to reproduce? Or is it some kind of comentery on society that this is the case?
