> Placing another's needs above one's own. Period. It has nothing to do with feelings, emotions, states of mind. It's a decision, action, and a way of life. Make that decision, and the feelings tend to follow. I think where a lot of people falter when examining their romantic relationships is to expect the feelings to come first and follow *them*. Sometimes the feelings do come first, but they aren't love, and they aren't good at leading.
