God is love. So, true love (as in "lovers" love) should come very close to imitating God's love. It's impossible of course, but a nice goal. Patient, kind, unselfish, honest, faithful, and forgiving. And lots of other good things. The love of things is more like, "I really like this a lot." And family. . .that's a loyalty, a strong bond, even harder to explain than love between lovers. I wonder why that is. . . . Anyway, that's what I think, sort of. I could probably say more, but I'll spare you. . .for now.
