I don't understand the appeal, but I passed through New Orleans and, as always, had to walk through the French Quarter. Bourbon Street is a smelly, sleezy place with a magnetic personality.
They have bars, restaurants, music, wierd characters and sometimes a smell like drunken barf. I like their brand of music and the food never disappoint me, so maybe that's why I keep going back. I don't recommend it. You can get good food and music just about anywhere.
