Decomposing

I was looking over some music for my percussion class this afternoon, and happened to see a small message at the bottom of the page which read, "NOTE TO CONDUCTOR AND PERFORMERS: The writers of this music are dependent upon its sale for their livelihood. Duplication by any means is not only illegal but it inhibits the creation of new music for your use." It seemed perfectly reasonable to me, and I could see that it was there for a reason. The only problem with it was that the composers whose livelihood it set out to protect, John Philip Sousa and William D. Revelli, are both quite dead.
Sam, are you looking for any new material for "Things People Said?"
