If it's random it is, but it 'isn't', not quite, not like the throw of a die. Playing against a human you're always checking on previous behaviour, bluffing and double bluffing. Against the computer I kept getting ties which led me to believe that a (simple) strategy was being used, rather than random generation, looked for a pattern and used this 'knowledge' successfully to claw back early losses. Or was I deluding myself?
