Nothing is more annoying than trying to find a spot in a full (or nearly full) lot, then seeing that holy grail of a parking space up ahead, only to find that the guy in the next space never bothered to even attempt to position his car parallel to the white line, thus his tire is over the line, his bumper is well into the open space, but because of his total disregard for anyone else but himself, I must abandon all hope of sqeezing in there since my car tends to be a bit wider than a motorcycle. ...

The park-n-ride has the rows along the perimeter for compact cars only. Invariably, I'd arrive after the peak traffic time to park my car to find a half-open space obscured by the pickup truck or the station wagon in the next space. Today I had to squeeze between a Ford Mustang (not a compact car) and another car who parked as close as he could to the white line.
I'm going to ask the police to start patrolling and ticketing the cars in the parking lot.
