It could possibly be the feel of the story itself (e.g.: one person writes it to be a love story, another writes a farce, another writes a bloody tragedy, etc). It could be to incorporate an idea into the story (e.g.: "your character must eat a live chicken during a business meeting" and the next author would have to write that in somehow).

He has been put back now that Space Force is done with him and a villian had been introduced just as the thread died. One author could take Electrolites view point and the next one could be the villian.

How about a story in a diary/journal format about a retired school teacher named Howard who's trying to ride his scooter cross country. One person tries to write a pleasant, uncomplicated trip, and the other keeps throwing in all sorts of situations and oddities. It might start to sound like a Griswold vacation pretty quickly.

Tra "did something happen over your break that would make you want to go by 'Man' instead of 'Boy'? -wink, wink, nudge, nudge" nio
