I'll be working for Level 3 Communications out in Boulder, CO (well, near Boulder, anyway. Actually Broomfield or something like that.)

My official title will be something like "Senior Systems Engineer" or something screwy like that, but in reality I'll be doing much the same work I"m doing here, which is Systems Administration--basically, I keep the computers running. I'll be working with a group of other SAs, and I'll be responsible for seven or so Sun Solaris UNIX servers. The servers belong to the Finance department, so if I screw up, nobody gets paid ;-)

I'll actually be mentoring a guy only slightly younger than myself (actually, I don't even know for sure that he *is* younger than me) but who doesn't have any practical UNIX Admin experience. It should be really cool. It'll be a lot of work, but with my base salary, bonus, and stock options I'll be more than doubling my current salary. Yay!
